| Emberkit had her fiery gaze fixated on a little, bicoloured she-cat she had spotted rummaging around Seamist her nest. Mother had told her the names of the others but she had already forgotten them, as she didn’t play with them much. But now that her own siblings had gone off exploring she was forced to entertain herself. But what was the fun in that? So she crossed the nursery and gave the other kitten a tap against her tail to draw her attention. “Hello! Do you want to play with me? Pleaaaaaase..” Emberkit chirped while drawing out her please.

Honestly, it was a little annoying. Like, a little but a lot. Amberkit sat struggling as she was attempting to properly wash her fur. Normally she'd let her mom do it, since she loved the attention. This time, however, she was kindly told to try it herself. Stubborn as she was and honestly a bit hurt that she couldn't lazily let her mom do it, she was determined to show that, in very fact, Amberkit was very much able to take care of herself. Thank you very much. The fact that her fur was very silky and quite long definitely didn't help though, it kept getting stuck to her prickly tongue and the faces it had her make were far from charming. In her focus she had taken no notice of the younger she-cat that was approaching her, up until Emberkit tapped her tail. Immediately she jumped a little, but quickly recovered. Oh, it was just one of her neighbors. In her mind, she and her littermates had just...Appeared, out of thin air. She once asked a queen about it, but no-one had seemed very happy to explain that mystery to her. Amberkit frowned and looked down on the younger kit. "But you're like, tiny," she tilted her head a little in confusion. "You kinda look like me!" that was weird, only her mom looked like her!
