He was absolutely done with everything in his clan. Everytime he only entered the camp it was all about Tallstar. Tallstar this, Tallstar that. Tallstar was gone, completely gone. He wouldn't return and there was no use talking about wanting him back or keeping him away from the clan. He couldn't care less, their leader left them so they would be better off without him. Easy as that. That's why he was glad to be out of the camp and he tried to be out of it as much as possible. He hated it to hear the whining. Accept it and move on. His eyes wandered over the marshlands, his eyes and ears ready to pick up any move, any sound. He was a hard worker, always been a hard worker. He didn't mind to work more hours than he was sleeping. He was used to it anyway. These circumstances wouldn't change anything. The scent of Beechresin hit his nose, to which he turned towards the scent. What was she doing here? She was the daughter of Acorndust and he didn't know if anyone else had noticed, but she was getting bigger. In a time of less prey. That only meant one thing in his eyes. He looked out for Acorndust, so he would do the same for his children. He couldn't help it, he was that kind of guy. He spotted her on the edge of the hard ground in the marshlands and slowly walked up to her. "Beechresin," he greeted her calmly with his stormy-blue eyes. "How are ya?" He didn't want to look like he was purposely looking for her.

She was pregnant. It was obvious in his eyes, but telling her she couldn't do things because she was pregnant was not a thing for him to do. It wasn't his place to walk around and tell her what she could or couldn't do. So he would have to accept that this should be it. That here is where it would end. But the fact that she was the daughter of the person he considered his friend, was why he was acting this way. Because this wasn't something or someone he would want to lose, so he would make sure that he wouldn't. Acorn would be a grandfather, was he happy with that news? Or didn't he know that yet? "Fine," was the answer he got from the she-cat. He knew she would tell anyone who asked that. But he wasn't a shrink, he wasn't a cat to talk to about emotions. He was the not-emotional guy. He didn't feel many emotions, at least that was what he was showing. "Good, that's great." He said with his gruggy voice. He doubted that many cats in this clan were really fine, but he wasn't invested in taking more time to talk about feelings. She had a lot of cats to talk about that, right? "Are ya huntin'? Or jus' takin' a walk?" He asked with a flick of his tail. He didn't want to interrogate her in any way, but if she was hunting he would most likely accompany her. Well, he would accompany her anyway, to make sure she wouldn't hurt herself or the kittens, he couldn't do that to Acorndust.

He didn’t want to correct her, she was a grown warrior. He was just there to… prevent some things if he had to. He would only stop her if she really had been doing something bad. He asked her calmly what she was doing out here, if she had just been walking or if she was hunting. He would like to accompany her on both things, just in case. You’d never know in a territory like this one. ShadowClan territory wasn’t really the most… safe one. You could easily drown in the shadowclan territory and no-one would even be able to find you. So if there was a pregnant she-cat that was the daughter of the cat he respected the most in this Clan, yes he’d make sure that she would come home safely. ”I was just walking, but hunting doesn’t sound bad.” The she-cat told him, to which he nodded. Hunting was always good in his opinion. There was never a bad time to go hunting. Okay, maybe there was, but not in his life. ”Were you hunting?” She asked him, to which he grunted an affirmative. One of the normal responses he used to most cats. Most cats didn’t know what to do with an answer like that, it wasn’t like he was just going to tell his whole life story to another cat. ” ‘s the best period to hunt.” He muttered to the she-cat while looking towards the forest. He wasn’t a cat that maintained eye-contact. Only in serious conversations, that was when you’d see his stormy blue eyes clearly, but not in normal conversations like these.
