Well, there he was
a falcon among crows.

Anger, there was only anger inside of him. He stared at the den where his mother was sleeping, still bleeding or not, he didn't know. He hadn't visited her, shame curling in his belly knowing that he hadn't been able to protect her. And then his eyes shot to the apprentice den. Where he was sleeping with the litter of snakes from that wretched beast that had attacked his mother. That monster that had slept in this camp. Had caught prey he had eaten. He hated it, he hated her. He hated Tallstar. Nails dug into the damp floor as he moved towards the apprentice den. His mouth opening a bit in a snarl. He'd shred them. He'd shred all of them, the next kin of that monster he saw. No he would not meet his mother in the state she was currently in. He'd meet his mother with the blood of those who hurt her still tasting in his own mouth. He was livid, and that anger was one that couldn't be put away, not untill he had unleashed it on each and every cat that deserved it.

RAVENPAW // SHADOWCLAN 7 MOONS OLD

The black and grey apprentice moved slowly through the camp, a piece of prey stuck in his mouth. He had picked it from the freshkill pile and was now on his way to share it with someone, as it was too big to eat on his own. Ravenpaw had learned manners from his mother. In the distance he spotted a white apprentice whom he recognized as Hoarsepaw. One of Slatefurs kits. It had recently come out that Hoarsepaw's mother, Slatefur, was attacked by the supposed 'clan-killer' Sinclaw. The she-cat had many murders on her name. Two of those murders were very personal.

Ravenpaw was not the cat to cherish resentment towards the offspring of the she-cat, but there was something about them that he didn't like. They resembled Sinclaw too much, they all had some of her traits. What if one of them would be come some murdering blood-thirsty monster as well? All these thoughts passes in his mind while he walked over to Hoarsepaw, with his prey in his mouth. He dropped it in front of the tom-cat. "So tell me, what are you brooding about. I can see it on your face from fox-lengths away." he mewed calmly while he sat down next to him. Time to hear him out. He hadn't been the same since he heard about Slatefurs attack.

His deep blue eyes stared at the apprentice den. Not even noticing Ravenpaw walking up to him. He shocked up when the apprentice spoke to him and stared at the dark tom. "What." He started, his nails still digging in the soil. For a second he was ready to snarl at Raven, send him on his way and not mingle in Hoarse's business. But then he noticed the eyes of the apprentice and knew that Raven already knew. He was probably thinking the same thing wasn't he? Hadn't that vile beast hurt his family as well. Wouldn't he want that brood out of his clan just as quick. So instead of snarling he smirked staring straight at the tom. "I was thinking of shedding some snakeskin." He growled low moving his ears towards the apprentice den. An hard gaze in his blue eyes.

The short way Hoarsepaw reacted to him indicated the madness that the young cat must feel at this moment. From the corner of his eye he could see claws digging up dirt in anger. He knew the feeling, but learned quickly to control and behave himself. Hoarse, however, seemed not quite ready for that yet. The white apprentice looked like a ticking timebomb, ready to burst at any given moment. The wrong stroke against his fur would set him off.

The smirk that he pulled from the young tom-cat's face with his word was midly disturbing. He knew what he was thinking, he had thought about it too. "I was thinking of shedding some snakeskin." Ravenpaw pushed the prey his way. "Pull of this skin first." he then said in a calm tone. "Pull of the skin of a snake and they emerge anew, you know that right?" he then continued, more quiet. "Not to begin about the treason you would commit towards the clan. They are still considered clanmates, not matter their parents." there was simply no point in murdering stupid kids. "It all comes down to one thing, you fool. You become the thing you most hate. It's not a smart move and not the way you want to trudge." his black tail lashed annoyed and his whiskers slightly vibrate as he spoke the words towards the young cat.

A low growl split over his lips as he turned to face Ravenpaw. Did the tom not understand. Was he so mousebrained, those snakes were put on the earth to destroy them all from within. They were made to kill them all. Why else would that vile creature give birth to them. His claws dug deeper into the soft earth as he shook his head. ”It’s no treason when you protect the clan from certain doom.” He hissed staring back towards the warriors den. ”Acorndust is too soft, hell he hasn’t even tried to get his name because he still believes Tallstar will come back. Acefray is in on all this shit. And Sinclaw is now commander of bloodclan. Sinclaw the mother of those snakes and Wolfpaw as well. Not to mention her snarky little sisters.” He growled soft. ”It’s a rats nest in here Ravenpaw, and we’re dinner if we don’t do something quick.” He stared at the warrior, trying to make him see reason. Could he not understand. Did he not see?

The white tomcat still radiated an aura of anger around him. One that wouldn't disappear soon. "It is treason when you kill your clanmates, regardless of what they might do in the future. You can't just do that." he hissed at him. He wouldn't protect the waste of space litter that had crawled out of Sinclaw, but he couldn't let Hoarsepaw commit a crime. He then started rambling about Acorndust being soft, Acefray being in on all the shit that was happening and Sinclaw being the new BloodClan commander. "You're right." he stated. "I don't see Tallstar returning anytime soon, Acorndust needs to get his lives before we're attacked and we will end up without leader." his fluffy black tail patted slowly on the ground while he thought about the whole ordeal. "I don't think Wolfpaw is really in with all the shit her mother does, I heard she went to BloodClan territory to confront her." he mewed softly. He wouldn't dream of meeting one of BloodClan members right now, he needed more battle training before that.

His ears flicked, a dark look still hanging in his blue eyes. He knew that Ravenpaw was right but he still couldn't get the darkness from his heart. His mother was hurt, hurt by those beasts their mother. Their blood was vile and wrong and.. He growled deep, anger and fear mixing all within his little heart. "I don't give two shits wether Wolfpaw tries to confront her momsy or not. She is just as bad as Sinclaw." He narrowed his eyes and looked at Ravenpaw. "She is Mousedung in the head by Sinclaw. And a danger to the clan." His words were harsh, but with his own mother laying bleeding in the medicine cat den he knew he couldn't put on the kitty gloves. Their clan was falling apart and the monsters that were responsible were being protected like they were children instead of the monsters they actually were.

The mood seemed to change when he had spoken his words. Hoarsepaw mentioned that he didn't give two shits about Wolfpaw trying to confront Sinclaw. His words sounded harsh. "I know that you are angry about what happened to your mother, but this isn't the way." Ravenpaw told him. "If you do what you are planning inside that head of yours, you will become what you hate so much." he might think that he was ridding the clan of murderers. "You might even become a bigger murderer than Sinclaw. 'The baby killer'. Is that how you want to go down in clan history?"
