| As Gaia Conlectus walked through the forest, she was thinking about the story she wanted to write. It took place in a forest, in exactly this forest. Taking a small path into the deeper parts of the woods, she thought about the next chapter. Should it be in the forest? Yes, of course. The forest had always called Gaia, and it had been no surprise that her name meant “Earth Puddle”. She wouldn’t ever tell that to anyone, though. She wasn’t crazy. People would laugh at her. They already thought she was a freak because of her unnatural amber eyes.
