| The sky was thick with heavy, dark clouds that were hanging low. One could barely make out that the color of the sky was a deep gray. Light flashed across the sky like a spider over it's web and a loud crashing sound came along with it, followed by the rolling of thunder. Nature was almost playing it's own tune-like melody, filling one's ears with it's music and shaking one's soul to the very core with it's deep bass. Along the coast of the river, a brown cat is visible. He seemed to just be lying there, with one of his paws skimming the water. He bore markings with a muddy coloring on his silk fur, with a sand colored base coat. His head faced the river, resting on the brown colored earth between the grass. His bright blue eyes were half lidded, staring blankly into the water. If his eyes weren't open, one might of thought he would be dead. There was a sheer silence aside from the thunder and the crackling of the lightning, but it was a silence that was most respected. The crashing of lightning seemed to be getting louder though, as the storm reached closer and closer. He didn't even move when the thunder made a loud outburst. The rain started to fall more intensely, making the earth turn a darker color as it was dampened. Another flash of lightning shattered the sky, but he didn't motion in any way. The rain made him feel simple and clean, not one speck left on his body. He remembered each hurtful word of his enemies for the last five years, making him wonder what it was like to die alone. He silently stared at the river, thinking of how he could find the years that went away. How he could destroy all the cruelty of faith, eventually coming to the conclusion that that was impossible. He had always found it hard not to cause commotion, as humans referred to him as 'a demon'. So did they do with most wild cats though, as they just weren't meant for petting. [Everyone welcome! ^^] |
