A day alive

Claw had taken over the clan, her kits were young and innocent, just two moons old. She was sitting in the opening of the nursery while she watched the clan. Her eyes were clouded with concern. How long would this last? When would the whole clan try to chase those foxhearted cats away? She sighed and walked over to another Queen. "I'm going out, will you take care of my kits until I'm back? And don't let them leave the nursery, they're not allowed to when I'm away," she said. The other Queen nodded and Brightspots left the nursery. Without looking at another cat she left the clearing. She was not as fast as she used to, that was all because of her lost left hind-leg. Brightspots looked up at the cloud, where at night silverpelt would be visible if the night was clear. She would wish every night upon Starclan that they would save them. That peace would return.

This is before Brightspots's execution. Here she's 49 moons. Her first litter of kits is 13 moons, her first is just two moons young. A moon later Brightspots will be executed by claw.

And again, Tall had visited his mother by the border. He rolled in the herbs with a strong scent, to hide the Shadowclan scents, before he returned to the camp. It was already dark, so he was in a big hurry. He didn't want anybody to see him. His visits were a secret, and it was the best that they remained so. When he entered the camp he saw the contours of a cat. He stayed low and ensured that he remained in the shadows, when he returned to the apprentice den.

She kept watching the sky while she was outside of the camp. Enjoying the moment of being alone, being away from those foxhearted Bloodclan cats. She still didn't understand why they called them selves a clan, they were far from being a clan. They were murderous cats who didn't understand the meaning of life. She pushed her thoughts away while she limped further and further, untill the sun began to sink down. She turned around and limped back to the camp. When she returned she saw Tallpaw walking toward the apprentice den. She decided to visit him. Brightspots limped toward the apprentice den en poked her head inside. "Tallpaw?" She mewed while she got inside. It had been a long time since she visited the apprentices den.

His ears went straight up, by hearing his name. "Yes?" he wispered softly en walked back to the opening in the apprentice den, were Brightspots' head was. "W-what is it?" he asked, not sure if she saw him entering the the camp earlier. He didn't want Brightspots to know his secret. He didn't want to disappoint her, knowing that he betrayed the clan by doing this. He went out of the bush so he wouldn't wake another apprentice.

She found it strange that Tallpaw was acting nervously, but she didn't search for anything behind it. "Wanna go out for a walk?" She a asked. "I would like to stretch my three working legs," she added with a soft smile. She liked to spent time with her kits, even her foster kits. She loved Tallpaw and Banepaw as if they were her own kits. Brightspots just couldn't wait for the moment that Silverstar would be back again and Claw to be gone.
